Hello guys, new to this forum was wondering if you could help me a little please!

A mate of mine has a DC2 and a DC5 Integra but he is selling the DC2 and has offered it to me for 4k! It's 98 on an R plate is in very good condition with around 70k on the clock, I would only be using it at the weekend as I have another car for work. He is taxing it for me soon so I can take it for a drive, is it worth having for a weekend car and what should I look out for on this model?

Any feedback would be muchly appreciated

I think it's JDM, I only think it's this because it's had to have a fog lamp fitted, is this correct? If not how do you tell the diff?

The clocks will be in KPH instead of MPH, and the head lights on JDM cars are the square ones and the Euro model has small round ones.

Yeah, I thought that was the facelift one too till recently But apart from the cosmetic differences, and 8bhp less than the JDM car, they are exactly the same, I actually prefer the look of the Euro car though :thumbup:

You might wanna check that it's not a American Si model because they came with the twin round lights as well.
UK cars should already have the fog light cut into the right side of the bumper so if the bumper is completely smooth then it's either a American import or someone's swapped the bumper over.

Ah, yeah, it is cut into the bumper, I just presumed he had done that, he is a body repair specialist!

Highlt unlikely to be an American import.. Why would someone pay all them shipping costs for a LHD??

It could possibly be a JDM Si but I reckon if your mate now has a DC5 it's a Type R..

For overall package, the price was amazing for the cars spec. Still miss it, but prefer the comfort of the ep3.

Looks like I won't be getting this one, the policy my Dad has through his business don't even have rates for anyone under 25 for a group 18 car!!!

SO! I am looking into getting either EP3, FN2 OR DC5 on my girlfriends policy! (she's 25 )
