Track Day at Keevil Air Field on Monday 17th of July.

FULL

This is now set up ready for booking.

It will cost £99 and if there are 8 cars or more, we all get 20m free tuition.

Please call 0870 787 2116

Tell them you are part of the Civic Type-r forum so we get the group tuition.

First Come First Served and there are limited places.

The Schedule at the moment is:

9:00 am Arrive
9:30 am Drivers Briefing
10:00 am Pit Lane Opens for the AM session
01:00 PM Lunch
02:00 PM Pit Lane Opens for the PM session
04:45 PM Pit Lane Closes

I have never done a track day and it is apparently a good track to start on as there are very large run off areas.

Post if you are interested with info on the car you are planning to bring.

I was reading the FAQ's and crash helmets ARE required. They can be hired for £10 per day.

Is anyone going to take out track day insurance?

Helmets are compulsary at all trackdays, I have my own helmet anyway and I don't take out trackday insurance. I know Greenlight do it for £50 which is good. But you will incur a massive excess, about 10% of the cars value. My past trackdays, run by MSV have had very strict overtaking rules so car contact is almost impossible.

They said the limet is upto 40 cars and waiting will be minimal.

I am planning to go to castle combe circuit to get it noise tested on the 14th of June at 4.30 if anyone wants to come.

I will also be bringing a Video Camara to the event. 8)
