Anyone had this fault code and what to do, came on few month ago, when I plugged it in light was already off and no faults showing , then came on again last week and found this

P2610 - ECM/PCM Internal Engine Off Timer Performance

Possible causes

- Faulty Engine Control Module (ECM) / Powertrain Control Module (PCM) - ECM/PCM Harness is open or shorted - ECM/PCM Circuit poor electrical connection - ECM/PCM outdated program

Description

This Engine Control Module (ECM) / Powertrain Control Module (PCM) contains a timer and measures time between an ignition switch OFF and the next ignition switch ON. This enables the judging of the state of engine cooling at an engine start.
