Ok loving the car but miss plugging my phone into the audio for music. How do i fit a double din into the dash? Is there a after market part that creates the right size gap?
The stock set up takes a large portion of that dash up.

Honda have a double DIN kit which replaces that whole section of the dash (including the blowers). There are cheaper kits out there too (Ebay) but some have said the colour isn't quite right.

With either kit and the right connecting lead you are then free to install a unit of your choice

Not really, around £280 IIRC.

Connects2 seems to be about £90.

Connects2 and both leads for controls and no loss of display is around £130...I did mine took some time although I fitted an amp and subs to at the same time....
