Hi folks.My first post
I am ready to trade in my 3.2 audi convert for a black honda civic type r 2007 with rage alloys, sat nav, hft etc.

Just a few questions please?

Whats the sound system like in these cars?
Ipod kit and hft kit any good?
Do they come with xenons as standard?

thanks

andy :-D

Sound system is ok, on par with other cars in the class.
Ipod kit doesn't work with new iPhone and only works with 8 playlists so not very good.
HFT works ok.
Xenons are only standard fit on MY09 cars so not on yours I'm afraid.

Sound system seems ok to me, not the best but good enough!
I have the new iPhone and it works no problem except for that annoying sound speakers make when your getting a text etc happens all the time (possibly due to push notifications) so on long journeys I stick it on airplane mode :)

Edit: I don't know about the 8 playlist problem, I just choose the playlist I want on the phone then stick it in

nah mate its a real easy job, only ones that are a pain to change are the foglights (if you decide to change them that is) i ended up taking the front bumper off to do mine as it was a pain to get to them through the arches

Got interior lights off him aswell, dont think theres a bulb left on the car thats standard

My dipped beams are only 5k though, going to upgrade them to 6500k at some point, so they blend in with sidelights a bit more

Dipped + high beam on

I should be also be getting a CTR in a few weeks, well excited. :WOOT

With regards to iphone connection, just get a parrot kit fitted, lets you connect iphone, usb, stream via Bluetooth oh & of course make hands free calls. Thats what Im going do. The 2 kits Im looking at are these.

Cheers
