Has anyone managed to find any insurance for the ring yet?

If so how much is it?

Bloody expensive - at least £150 per day, probably more depending on the amount of cover you take out.

Is the ring public highway or private track?? Iv no idea.

If you drive it carefully (ie slower) do others on it not get P'd off???

Public highway, but if your policy specifically excludes it by name then you won't be covered

You won't piss off other drivers, as long as you keep to the right hand side of the circuit and use your mirrors

Overtaking is on the left only.

The thing that some people forget is that

a) it's not a trackday
b) it's not your private racetrack
c) everybody has paid the same for a lap

So its at your own pace!! Im well going drive. but not as fast as poss..

Yes, at your own pace. There are coaches of tourists driving round at 50mph.

As long as you keep to the right and be aware that faster cars and bikes will catch you up very quickly you'll be fine. It is courtesy to put your right hand indicator on to show the car behind you are aware they are there. It helps them know you arent going to suddenly veer in front of them

All this talk of going slow, you will all get on there, worried and scared and as soon as you go through the barrier you will think you are on PS2.
Tyres will be screeching, suspension bottomed out and you will never get below 7000 rpm
