Another UK organized event http://www.modball.com has been canceled.
Please remember we are on a touring holiday not a rally/ race
And no stickers or numbers on the cars. A small forum graphic is fine but nothing that stands out and says stop me.
Also note only small groups of cars, I would say 3-4 maximum and plenty of time between each group. We don't want to be turned back after day one. From other articles that I have read they were 143 cars all max powered up. so I don't think we fall into that bracket.

From what I can understand from the local news articles (eg http://www.ksta.de/html/artikel/1181627409427.shtm... ) they used a local law which prohibits rallies, and defines that as cars with numbers on them. Another article I read quotes a fair amount of bad language, but that's understandable in the circumstances. No reports of aggro or arrests. Other than that they have been fined E180 each, forced to remove the stickers and escorted to the border. The Belgian police (and then French, presumably) are supposed to escort them to Calais where the Modball organisers have booked a ferry.
One thing these guys DO seem to have realised is that you DO NOT mess with the German Police.
