Off on a stag do skiing next month, I have no gear at all but I'm looking to buy the following..

Goggles
Gloves - Mountain
Jacket
Pants

I want some decent stuff, not just cheap shite, I haven't a clue what's good and bad though, can anyone help?

I've found Decathlon to be good for the basics.

Although i'm sure Breitling make ski goggles if you want to go upmarket.

Maybe not quite that upmarket. Just not cheap shite. Looking into the Nike stuff, seems reasonable, where's RM CYA when you need him?

Tk max generally has an OK selection of branded stuff if your only going the once. Make sure your salopets or pants are at least a 10k waterproof rating jacket wise you can either buy a shell and layer up like I do or buy a warmer jacket and sweat like a dog when its hot Your want some thermals as well and I take a micro fleece type shirt under my jacket on colder days. I'm currently in val thorens and its quite warm so just riding in my shell and my thermal top.
