Does anyone here play snooker??

I played it a while ago. On Saturday I was bored so me and my mate decided to join Rileys in Stevenage. Was there for a few hours. Takes a while to get good again. I used to be getting breaks of above 50. But my highest break of the night was 35. Not so good.

Colchester, organised a little work comp for tomorrow night actually....

I'm ok at snooker too. Trouble is I'm colour blind so I keep Cueing the pink thinking it's the white  , and potting the brown when I'm on a red

I occasionally play at "The Victoria Club" in Nottingham.

2 Full size tables and they are free 8). Nice restaurant too.

Good job gambling is not one of my vices though, everytime I go a couple of my mates seem to lose £100's on the Roullette/Blackjack downstairs. Decent of them to fund my snooker playing though

I played for years as a kid.

Used to go at least every Friday night. 5 quid would pay the lights, get me a couple of pints and a chippy on the way home.

I doubt £5 would get more than a couple of hours on the lights now

Anyone been watching the UK chumpionship?
A lot of players struggling out there.
