just after her first goal Ellen white tried an overhead volley and it nearly lobbed the keeper but saved. couldn't find that link.

This is true! No diving in the ladies team. I watched the england japan game and there was no rolling around around the floor crying frim any of the hard tackles. Also twice a jap player burst into the box and got clipped if she'd gone down it wouldve been a dead cert for a pen on both occasions.
