Cover for Yaya toure when he goes off to ACN for upto 6 weeks from Jan , clever signing imo free probably on a pay as you play deal and can be added to champions league squad in Jan will provide more than adequate cover for yaya and has a point to prove to force his way into the England squad again

Good job the African Cup of nations doesn't last too long...you have to think if he could ever get fit and stay fit, he'd still be at United...doubt he ever will be fit enough for long enough to trouble the England squad anymore, which is a shame because he could walk all over the job Barry does(n't) do for England.

They best roll out the Welcome to Manchester billboard again

Hew will probably be back up to the back up Barry so 4th choice and to be fair not a bad fourth choice, city taking the piss with their squad though they could field 2 teams that could finish in the top 6

Of the other clubs, 11 made losses, totalling £458m. Manchester City, in the third year since Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan of Abu Dhabi's ruling family bought the club and began to pour in money to acquire a team capable of winning the Premier League, lost £197m, the greatest financial loss in the history of football.

WTF!!!!!!!!!!! :shocked!:

Also the figures from last season have been released.

He was regarded as the most promising young left-back in world football, prior to his move to City. As is standard with promising youngsters who make the move to the wrong club, his career has stagnated since then. He's been playing for their reserves, from time to time, but he's not been setting the world alight.

City become the first Premier League side not to manage a single group win, and missing out on the consolation prize of the Europa League means their seeding is likely to drop further when they return to Europe next season.

Their haul of three points is a meagre return given the vast resources at Roberto Mancini's disposal, and is the lowest by an English club in the 20-year history of the competition.

Manchester City's tally of three points from their six group games replaces Blackburn's record in 1995-96 as the worst by an English team in the Champions League. Rovers finished bottom of a group containing Spartak Moscow, Legia Warsaw and Rosenborg on four points, with their only victory coming in their final game against Rosenborg when Mike Newell scored a nine-minute hat-trick.
 Even the Germans in the office are saying that Cit'eh are the laughing stock of Europe.
