Seriously, GTF!!

Either do these things properly, 18 and true to the original story, or just don't even bother.

They could have done a film with this plot without ruining the Terminator legacy in the process.

I find it odd that they happily just re use Arnuld at any age to play a non ageing robot but never go back to the original Sarah and Kyle. If we are supposed to accept a crusty android then we can accept older others too... or are these films only about Arnuld and dare not risk a Terminator film without him. Probably wise after Salvation - wasn't that supposed to be a series, lol.

Still this one looks like the usual big set pieces, limited story, good looking cast, cliches and one liners. It's a J J Abrams film!

It's one of those films that people will go and see because of what it should have been, not what it is.

Like the latest Transformers, people went to see it because it was a Transformers film, not because it was actually any good. If that film was about a generic bunch of robots and was a standard alone single film no one would have cared. People will go to see this because it Terminator, regardless of whether it's actually a good film, me most likely included.

I hated that they changed the original twist ending for Salvation, that was to see John Conner actually be a terminator (rather than just take it's heart), which would go on to explain how he became such a strong leader.

So if this new one is going to be set in an alternate 1984, are we going to see plenty of 80's clothing and hair styles once again? Plus, the Terminators were created due to Cyberdyne finding the remaining arm and chip after Sarah Connor crushed it, so surely this film has to end to exact same way otherwise the Terminators never exist and in turn, the war never begins, and in turn Kyle Reece is never sent back by John Connor which in turn means he never makes Sarah preggo, which in turn means she never gives birth to John in order for him to send Kyle back in the first place. Confused.com.
