Not only will the weather be hot in July but the track action at Shakespeare County Raceway’s (www.shakespearecountyraceway.com) mid summer Public Track Weekend will be even hotter as some of the quickest and fastest Front Wheel Drive Outlaw cars descend on the Warwickshire quarter mile for the third annual UK FWD Outlaw Shootout.

With an estimated prize fund of over £6000, the 2013 Shootout has attracted as its title headline sponsor Injector Dynamics headed up by company owners Tony Paulo of T1 Race Development and Paul Yaw of Yaw Power Products. Injector Dynamics pride themselves on being an innovative company who have brought a superior range of fuel injectors to a market where results with better and more reliable performance for both racers and tuning enthusiasts alike – count.

It is expected that there will be a full 16 car field on hand at Stratford-Upon-Avon’s Shakespeare County Raceway with many of the countries top teams competing in some of the quickest 9 second FWD cars on the planet. Although in previous years the event has been won on reliability rather than power, this years event promises to be no different with every driver entering hoping that he/she can take home some of the prize monies on offer from the UK FWD Outlaw Shootout sponsors which include; The Drive Shop, EFI-Parts, CPL Racing, Concept Graphics & Solutions, LA Racing Parts in association with Mickey Thompson Tires and VP Racing Fuels. To become a race sponsor check out the event web site at www.outlawshootout.co.uk.

Previous winner of the inaugural Shootout was Adam Buckley’s consistent high 9 second Honda Civic Type R sponsored by TDI North while last year’s the title fell to a 650 bhp MGZR Turbo of Andy Nicholls. Who will scoop the title prizes and overall shootout title this year? Find out on 21st/22nd July at Shakespeare County Raceway’s triple header meeting with the 4th annual For Ladies That Launch competition. See you at the strip?

Also if you have a quick car then don't rule out competing as there is a huge prize fund and the event has previously been one by reliable cars able to make it through the rounds rather than the outright quickest cars.
