The BBC just reported that two tyres and the engine plus debris got through the barrier into the crowd!

Not good. Saw this last night, lucky nobody was killed.
The problem is when you have cars bunching at 200+ mph this is almost always going to end in something bad happening.

Nasty accident, but I caught some of this on MotorsTV last night and my god, this is the absolute peak of boring motor racing.
