Hi all
I've bought some(and put in a couple of litres) of castroll edge 0W-30 with titanium fst fully synthetic oil into my fn2.
I saw on the old service receipt that it had used 0-30 castroll oil , but on checking now I can't find that this oil is suitable for the fn2.
Do I need to worry and get the oil dropped ?
Help
Thanks

0W-30 will be fine. I believe it's one of the recommended grades that Honda states for this type of engine.
Many of us use a slightly thicker oil of 5W-40 as it helps with reducing oil consumption and coping better with higher engine temperatures.

Thanks for that , I'm just worried by the number attached and it not saying Honda in the recommended car brands .
I might be getting myself confused though

Hi

It's fine, the only issue is that CTRs tend to burn a drop, so it might burn a thinnish oil like that pretty quickly.

The reason Honda isn't listed on the can is because Honda doesn't have it's own engine oil specifications like BMW, VW, Merc etc, that are mentioned.

Cheers

Tim
