Hi guys, I know its been asked before but I cant seem to find any threads now related to this.

I can post pics I find on the net i.e http:// etc as prompted by the image button but how do I post pics I have taken with my camera and saved to my picture archive on the computer?

Am I just being daft?

[HASNIC]

host them at http://www.photobucket.com

Your pics need to be posted on a server somewhere:

Try http://www.photobucket.com or use your own webspace (assuming you have some).

for people wanting to know how to do this in the future, I shall quote:

Hi mate. Well you can't post pics here straight from your own computer - you need to have them stored remotely somewhere on some webspace so you need to upload them there first.

Then you either paste the link, which people can click on to view the pics. (That's just the URL or address where the pics are stored)

OR

If you paste the URL between the [IMG] tags

Example ....[img]URL[/img] .... the pic appears directly in the thread.

two examples are:

http://www.website.com/picture.jpg
[img]http://www.website.com/picture.jpg [/img]

just remove the space before [/img] when posting

A few sites that you can upload pictures to are:

http://www.photobucket.com
