I know I am prob just going to have to deal with it myself but i've brought a rep spoiler off another memeber and sent payment by cheque, now it's arrived and it's poorly finished and the corner was damaged in the post. The seller isn't replying to any messages and I don't think he's been online since, I've sent him a letter aswell with no reply and he lives hours away or I would have gone round to pay him a visit.
Anything any mods can do or if you can give me any more contact details for him?
As I said I know it's prob my own fault for not buying more safely but I was too trusting!
Thanks

Buying more safely? You paid for an item, you received that item. It being damaged in the post is a risk you take, but the seller should package it better especially if it's fragile. Did you see many pictures of the product? Again one persons "good condition" is another persons "that's in crap condition" again a risk you take when you cannot see the item in person before you buy it. As I see it the guy did nothing wrong apart from say it was in better condition than it was....but then again his interpretation of "better condition" may be different from yours. Assuming all along you saw pictures and were happy to buy it, there is nothing the mods can do as no rules were broken.

Don't think this can be described as a scam.you paid for and received a poorly finished spoiler. Assuming you saw pictures and If not why not then no rules have been broken. I have sympathy but it is what it is.

I agree I may have worded this wrong, I was told it was primed and would be professionally finished in the colour of my choice and you can see some parts not fully covered in paint and drips all down the back of the wing I would be shocked if anyone would be happy to put this on their car. The damage in the post I accept isn't fully his fault but when I say buying more safely I mean it doesn't seem I have any come back if i'm not happy with what i've brought and hes got away without any explanaton by just not logging in or replying to me

Did you see pictures of the item AFTER it was painted, so you could say yes or no to the quality and then continue to pay? Or did you ASSUME it would be a good job, paid for an item you only saw with primer and then felt let down when receiving the item?
