Due to loads of repeated PM's I thought it would be easier to list down our popular options on the DC5 Type R suspension & alignment upgrades.

ALIGNMENT

On a standard DC5 the only thing that is actually adjustable is the front & rear wheel alignment (toe). We can also make the front camber adjustable with the use of Eibach adjustable camber bolts - this is essential to get the best handling as the cars usually leave the factory with uneven camber settings usually positive on one side and negative on the other :shock: . This causes very poor handling and steering feel.

The rear camber is also non-adjustable from the factory but again ABP have a way around this :wink: . This is fortunate as most DC5's rear camber leaves a lot to be desired with both sides usually having excessive negative camber causing stepping on the inside edge of the rear tyres. On a standard height car we can usually modify the rear camber arms to get the correct camber but when lowered you will need to use the EIBACH fully adjustable rear camber arms allowing the geometry to be set perfectly. These are essential on lowered DC5's as lowering introduces lots of extra negative camber.

By setting the geometry to fast road spec you will instantly notice improved steering feel, sharper turn-in and reduced under-steer. You will also eliminate uneven tyre wear and the common issue of rear tyres being stepped on the inside edges. Depending on whether you choose to do just the front or both front & rear the improvements improve accordingly.

We offer two options of alignment:

1) ABP Fast Road Set up for STANDARD HEIGHT cars We measure the initial geometry settings and then install fully adjustable front camber bolts in the struts. We modify the original rear camber arms and we then set the front & rear camber and alignment (toe) to our own fast road spec before the car receives its final road test ensuring correct steering wheel position. You will be given a full printed out before & after geometry report.

2) ABP Fast Road Set up for LOWERED CARS. We measure the initial geometry settings and then install fully adjustable front camber bolts in the struts. We replace the original rear camber arms with new EIBACH fully adjustable arms and we then set the front & rear camber and alignment (toe) to our own fast road spec before the car receives its final road test ensuring correct steering wheel position. You will be given a full printed out before & after geometry report.

SPRINGS & ALIGNMENT

By installing a set of top-quality EIBACH springs you take your DC5 to the next level in the handling department. Far from being harder or crashier the EIBACH's progressive design offers superior handling and improved ride quality / comfort. We commisioned EIBACH to design an exclusive to ABP -30mm front & -35mm rear spring kit which is superb in every way and looks great on the car! This is only for pre-facelift models only but we can supply an Eibach spring set for the later models with -25mm front & -30mm rear lowering with the correct handed springs on the front.

Supply and fit EIBACH -30mm front & -35mm rear lowering spring kit and ABP Fast Road Set up for the front AND rear. We strip down the front and rear suspension removing the original Honda springs and replace them with the new EIBACH lowered spring kit. We then measure the initial geometry settings and then install fully adjustable front camber bolts in the struts. We install fully adjustable EIBACH rear camber arms. We then set the front & rear camber and alignment (toe) to our own fast road spec before the car receives its final road test ensuring correct steering wheel position. You will be given a full printed out before & after geometry report.
