viewing a 05 DC5 but its a prefacelift car..Guidance anyone?

hi guys...
I am hopefully viewing a DC5 later today.
it was registered in Japan on the 01/aug/2005 by Honda, registered here in the UK on 9/10/06
thing is Honda facelifted the DC5 in september 2004. What im thinking is.. its a pre-facelift registered late? and no its not a facelift which has been stripped back to a prefacelift the car is a genuine prefacelift DC5 oh and im posting here because the dc5 forum is naffed at the mo... its a mint immaculate car with low miles and i know the guy too...
anyone come across this before? just making sure before i part with my wonga.
