most are readily available through good Honda dealerships, and the rest can be imported from specialist firms like japanparts.com etc, ive alreadt needed a few bits and have found it relative easy, that was one of my worries leaving the safer aspect of the ctr for the dc5 but its quality and more of a specialist hobby.

steels honda in hereford will readily supply all parts for the dc5, i order all my bits from them and they send it all through the post to me, much more helpful adn knowledgeable than my local dealership.

ordered some rear discs which had to come from belgium as they are different to ctr ones and not stocked, i had them within three days

What about body panels with the insurance and that?

Do you end up waiting months cos they can't get a panel?

And also Dan and Mike....how much room in the boot? I know Mike had an EP3 before. How does it compare??

I found that the DC5 boot to be better. I don't know if it is bigger or not, but I can fit more stuff in there with more ease, unlike the Civic where you find yourself stacking things.

Car is in the same servicing bracket as the CTR so you should get the same prices. Be careful as some dealerships try and pull your leg then overcharge.

Interesting! I carry loads of stuff for work so I'd need it to be a good boot.

I'd get it serviced at TDI of course!!!

My word that one would be perfect!!!

I fancy one or a premier or a JDM or a 330d or a new job with a van and then an M3 or a boxter S. Its all buzzing round in me head.

Boot on the DC5 is massive, anything I put in there seems to get lost. :D

That was a typo  I meant to say the DC5 has a bigger boot

Had EP3 and DC5 and DC5 is about 1 and half times the size of the EP3 one. Sorry for the confusion.

I will say though that lots of DC5's don't come with parcel shelfs though so if boot space is important it would be an idea to look at a parcel for it too.
