Strange, I'll have to make an effort to try and test this my filter could do with being replaced (infact would you know the diameter of the aem v2 end random I know lol) so was thing of extending the filter towards the sideof the bay near to the wheel arch so it does have a bigger area of cool air.

I don't sorry. The AEM cai version gets its cold air feed from near the wheel arch I think

Yeah I've seen the longer aem, long arm one that goes behind the bumper I beleive

always liked the look of the v2 aswell. I may make up a alluminium Sheild/half box to protect it from the heat and cold air feed direct into it too. That will give it it's best chance

Isn't there a chance of getting hydrolock with the aem if you go through big puddles, that's one of the reasons I went with the Teg m, was really paranoid about that happening.
