Might be some resonance effects peaking and troughing every 2k rpm, what kind of intake, intake manifold, header and exhasut are you using?

Also It been run in 4th so you have quite a short sample rate, plus I'm guessing at no smoothing correction on the graph itself.

Needs a 3inch exhaust [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]
who told you that? seems a bit excessive unless you're running a turbo

No one told me in needed to be 3inch - But may as well go for a custom 3 inch titanium system, to ensure It can handle future engine mods, and save weight [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

Its well documented all over the net that going 3" on K20 gains you power right through the rev range.... :bigthumb:

I'm with you. 3 inch unless its supercharged or turbo will cause back pressure issues [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

I researched a bit on this years ago on k20 forums etc and I remember that there were a few dynos and tests with direct comparisions etc proving some gains over 2.5" on the k20. also that back pressure is nonsense and irrelevant. this was when I bought my 2.75" GReddy cat back, however I had to switch back to 2.5" as the thing was too damn low when lowered 30mm. the difference from a 2.75" to 3 inch has gotta be insignificant and neglible though surely if you're only talking up to 250bhp NA.

When you compare from 40-160 it does make a difference along with bigger figures to wave your willy over if that's your thing.. :salut:

It's because it's not been mapped properly on low cam.
Copy and paste maps still being used with little understanding of how they actually work!

High cam is normally ok as that is all the "source" of these used to concentrate on. Low cam you normally see pretty much a straight line at 140ftlb until vtec. Car would feel lethargic until vtec with map you have.

Bring it in and I will tune it properly on one of my own.ECUs then we put yours in and compare them. You will see significant improvements when done properly.
If gains aren't there you don't pay. If I do make gains and you want to keep the map you pay. ;)
