Rev limit is 9k and vtec is 4800 or there abouts

9k RPM on stock valve springs = baaad :wtf:

Who tuned it? If its one of the major tuners it will be a 8600 cutout showing as 8900 / 9000 on the dial.

TDi North tuned it, you could be right in that case about the 8600 rpm limit, it does read 9k on the dial lol certainly feels a completely different animal to a stock R

Mine is 8600 rpm limit as well, and shows 9000 rpm on gauge.
