I took my k20/k24 to eurospec and got it mapped by romain

It made 246bhp and 196ft/lb

The mods are standard k24a3 bottom end with k20a2 oil pump, k20a2 head, fd2 cams, rrc inlet port matched to skunk2 70mm tb, pw jdm carbon intake with velocity stack, r crew k swap manifold and 3" exhaust

Odd, people have gotten similar figures on non frank engines... Still, must go like stink in an ek9

Not quite as much torque as that but still... Mind you their dyno does read low comapred with others... Tis the map that matters anyway [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

Flys in an ek9 no doubt, peak power at 7500 and all that torque means its fast at any rpm.

Ultimately power is made in the head, for the K20/K24 franks to make the big 300bhp headlines they need cams with duration optimised for the 99mm stroke, bigger inlet valves and compression to support.

Yeah it pulls hard in any gear at any revs. The internals are only standard for now so I have a good base engine to work on. I'm very pleased with it for now :-D

Its a bit jumpy bit i've converted it back to kmph now. Yeah the torque is great. Romain was trying to get me to add a jsrc to finish it off but i'll leave it for now!
