Hondata kpro, Toda mani, toda catback, gruppe m, skunk2 70mm tb, 70mm ported rbc.

Jdm engine so different cams and compression?
Maybe could of made more power if vtec came in later but as it is now its more driver friendly

it is easy to forget how much more power there is and how its delivered, boot it from 1st-2nd gear and it certainly shifts!
The shorter ratio gearbox moves things along nicley too :wink:

VTEC is set at the optimal point for the mods, most people think if VTEC is earlier they make more power as it is the power cam.

+1 Basically set at the point were the low cam is running out of steam. But bring in the high cam to soon and you will incur a flat spot.
What the mapper should be trying to achieve is a smooth transition between the 2 cams so when the low cam runs out of steam the high one comes in without any jump just smooth power all the way to the redline [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

My mates one mapped by romain is perfectly smooth you hardly feel the kick in vtec now just change in speed

Lovely mapper. Don't know he manages some of the figures.
My friends ek9 turbo @ 1.1 bar is 450 bhp and 350 ft lbs of torque.
Originally we thought it may hit around 400/250-280 torque at 20/21 psi (1.5 bar)
