Got to say a big thanks to Paul at TDI, he spent well over an hour on the dyno tuning the car and it feels so much smoother now.
Back in June the car made 241.8 bhp and 163.3 lbs feet of torque (221 NM) with the following modifications -
Tegiwa M, Spoon N1, Supersprint B-Pipe, Piper Manifold, Piper 200 cell Sports CAT, RBC Port matched, S90 70mm throttle body and K100.
I was happy with the results but Paul said the B-Pipe and Sports CAT was holding the car back and were restricting the flow.
I took those comments on board and bought a Spoon B-Pipe along with a Piper De-cat to try and free up some more power, my mate also removed the RBC and did some additional porting.
The map was tweaked on Thursday and it made 246.8 bhp and 165.9 lbs ft of torque (225 NM)
Despite it only being a small increase on paper, it translates a lot more on the road and feels so much more responsive now.
The throttle response is brilliant and VTEC has been lowered to 5200rpm so it makes daily driving much better.

I was slightly surprised with the torque figure because EP3's with the same/similar modifications normally pull 175 lbs feet but it’s difficult to pin point why it was a little low. The car has only done 40K miles so maybe when it chalks up a few more miles and things begin to loosen up it might pull a bit more [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]
I’m after a set of the TDI North Camshafts next so with those fitted it should pull close to 260bhp and over 170 lbs feet of torque
