Yeah, supports "UASP and SATA III 6 Gbit/s HDD/SSD" so in theory it should be quicker but its just a theory. Though its cheap enough to take a punt on I guess.

BF4 loads considerably quicker on my SSD, however that is internal/PC.

Yeah I've got to agree with Smartie. There has to be a bottleneck somewhere. The speeds are only theoretical maximums.

But most tests done by gaming websites have shown external drives to be quicker, especially when combined with an SSD.
