5.9" screen?

No thanks.

Seems to be the general reaction online too. If I'm honest, I'm put off by it as 4.95" can be a stretch.

I understand going bigger than say the iPhone 4 & 5, but everything just keeps on going up. 6" is waaaay too big, if you specifically want something that big then surely that's what the Note 4 is for?

Doesn't need to be any bigger than the Nexus 5.

I think though that because phone technology has hit a plateau the manufacturers panic and increase the phone size to differentiate it from the previous model. Take the iPhone 6, if that was the same size as 5 it would have brought sod all to the table, the bigger screens became the main focus, moving focus away from the lack of innovation. No a dig at apple, just an example.

Yep. But then companies have it in them to have to produce a phone every year even though phones 2-3 years old are perfectly capable of "being a phone".

If anything, software on phones is lagging a lot more than hardware. I keep finding bugs a-plenty.

Nope. Phone is being used bare, just a screen protector installed and that's it.

Added benefit of water resistance and sd card. Price doesn't seem too bad either £429.

Looks good. Doesn't have a dumbed down processor like some "mini" versions. Definitely worth a look.

Feel like treating myself to a new phone. Currently have the Galaxy S4. S5 isn't that much of an upgrade and I don't want a phone where I get strangers asking me if they can hold it on the train

Z3 looks good as I have a Sony TV, Soundbar and a PS4.

Either that or I'll hold out till the S6 comes out.

Brother has it, overall it's the best phone out there at the moment.

Picked up the z3 yesterday.

So far so good. Plus the ability to eventually okay my ps4 through it is an added perk!

I love the idea of playing PS4 on it- I've read that will be rolled out in November but by the time it probably works properly the z4 or even z5 will be out!

Just feels solid in the hand, good quality. Runs really well, camera is really crisp, 4k is a nice touch but won't get used a great deal I'm sure!

Runs fast, menus flick through quickly.
Phone call quality is good, better than my htc.

So far so good! Was a toss up between this and the htc dude. At present believe I made the right choice, time will tell I'm sure.

Spent 10 minutes with a Z3 today after asking some random guy on the subway to see his. Was pretty impressed with it, especially as I've never really liked Sony phones that much. Camera is amazing for a phone, doesn't seem to bend either.
