Hi guys,

My FN2 has stained the rear end on top of the exhaust with black soot. What should i use to remove it? I'm scared it will damage the paint while removing.

If it's just the chrome bit then Autosol metal polish will bring it up.

Its gone past the chrome bit onto the paintwork.

What colour is the car? My fugen CW bumper goes yellow/Brown from the exhaust fumes but not black. I just polish it off every week

Polish should get it out. If not some cutting compound or t-cut first and then polish after.

Yup and it's polished by hand so comes off pretty quickly without a DA. May be different if your fumes are black but I'm not sure
