Hi Dan,

Yes NOS is safe.
I would recomend a window switch but this is not essentail.
You do not need a controller for 50hp shot, but anything above that you do.
However, if you decide on having a Nitrous controller the minimax controller is good value , and works well.
Hope this helps
Any more questions .. just pm me.

I've been driving my FN2 with a 100hp shot for a while and i am planing now to go some more.
Just wondering if CTRs fuel pump can manage a bigger shot than 100hp?

You may need to uprate the fuel pump and may possibly need bigger injectors if your using your ecu to control the nitrous.

Talk to Guy @ cpl racing, http://www.cplracing.co.uk/ he should be able to help ( i'm not to sure if they changed the pump on the FN2 compared with the EP3 so don't want to give dodgy advice etc ).

Hey Jesse, I have a fn2 like you have and I have bought myself a secondhand noswizards kit aswell. I plan to install it in spring next year.
I read on some american forums that a 75 bhp is about the safe practical limit with our stock fuel pump, 100 bhp and you`re right on the limit. A bigger 250 lph Walbro pump is recommended when going for higher numbers, although I don`t know if these pumps will fit our cars.

I want to ask you a question; is it a big hassle to get the T barb for the fuel line spliced in? I have heard that the fuel lines on our cars have a two piece layer, a softer outer rubber skin and a hard inner plastic tube. Is this correct? Does this give problems when trying to fit the T barb? If so, I would like to replace it with a piece of hard rubber fuel line and splice the Tbarb into this. Don`t know if this is possible, any comment would be welcome.

Paul.

I have run 300bhp supercharged and a 50shot of nitrous ontop, on 440cc injectors and the standard fuel pump without a problem. I'd expect you could run 200bhp and a 100shot just as easily.

The Walbro pump fits in place of the stock pump fairly easily, plenty of write ups on club RSX show you how.

You are right about the fuel lines, not easy to T into. The easiest way is to either fit an aftermarket fuel rail which has a port you can plumb the fuel solenoid into, or replace the stock fuel line from the back of the engine bay to the fuel rail with a rubber one that you can then easily T into.

Hey thanks for the response. I took a hard look at the fuel line at the side of the engine block and I just got this idea; can I remove the short piece of fuel pipe with the quick disconnect fitting altogether and replace it with a sturdy piece of fuel line and secure it with some simple hose clamps? Or will it leak at the ends? Seems to be the easiest option to me to splice a t barb into it.

B.T.W. I`m in awe of that herculean effort you took in transforming your CTR into the monster it now is!

That's exactly what I meant by replacing the stock fuel line with a rubber one. If you buy the right diameter hose it can be clamped on with a hose clamp in place of the Honda fitting. The other end of the stock line is at the back of the engine bay and has the same quick release fitting, so a clamp at that end will do the same job. Not quite as neat and tidy as the Honda system, but with the right hose and clamp it will be just as safe and secure.

Right. Time for another trip to the scrapyards. Just been there yesterday in hope of finding the appropiate fittings and piece a matching fuel pipe together.
But now I`m going look for a sturdy fuel line with the right diameter and clamp everything together with some double hoseclamps, sorted, me thinks.

Thank you very much for your help, I just needed the confirmation from someone in the know.

Hey guys iv been runing 150 shot nos in my EP3 for over 2.5yrs & neva had a prob..

I havnt even changed the fuel pump on track days i use a 200bhp injector to pull more power & it worked well :-D

The only thing i recomend to change are the spark plugs to a heat range 8. Which are stocked 4 the escort & siera cosworth..

The car kicked ass all over evo's & subs were no prob- when it gripped the road lol..

Sadly the car got written off.. Got a NHB Premeir Edition now & going to go direct port 200shot on nos after fitting an RBC & K-PRO..

thats interesting to know, did you use the nitrous and fuel pulsoid or just nitrous and get a kpro to up the fuel when nitrous was armed? i was going to run a 75bhp shot but im half tempted to go for 100bhp

I used the twin solonoids 1 for fueling & 1 for NOS

A few trips up2 wizord of nos a few times but it was worth it in the end..

Carnt remember now its been a while since i used it but b4 my car gt written off i was using a 200 nos jet & 80 or 90 fueling jet & it ran fine on the stock ecu..

I am considering going down this route as it seems a lot easier and more rewarding than fitting a turbo or sc.

how much do you think I would be looking at.for a.full install on a stock fn2?

will I have to map this in or will it run with on stock ecu
