That's why I decided to stick to 8600. The only benefit for a 9k redline is the headroom to not change gear coming into a corner. You want to get through the gears as quick as possible in most cases, so keeping it till 9k would just be wasting time. I've gone shorter gearing, so I'm through the gears quickly and with the extra torque the power band of each gear has been increased anyway. Even though I can rev to 8600 I still have the shift light set at 8k.

Hence why I mentioned high comp Pistons as they're replacing them.
At this level you need someone who knows what they're doing. You'll need to clay to see if you can run full 50° vtc or have to set a limit.
