I am gutted that I never took the opportunity to take the course on my two previous EP3's, so I am looking to rectify this.

I was wondering if any TypeR (especially FN2) owners have paid for the MAC course (or something similar) and how you got on.

If it where me, I'd go do an IAM course and test instead. It's cheaper, plus you may get insurance cheaper (If you pass the test). It's the same course/stuff as you'd learn on the MAC, i.e. the "system". The only down side (possibly) is that it's normally done on a series of sunday mornings instead of a single day, but there's no compulsion to do all the training and the test.
