I bought my silver CTR in december last year as an ex demo with 1500 miles on the clock. I noticed after a day or two that when driving in a straight line the wheel was off centre, pointing slightly to the right.

After about a week I noticed a rattle from the windscreen.

Took it into Honda who replaced the windcreen seals and re-bonded the windscreen and is now fine

Only remaining problem is the steering they told me they would do a 4 wheel alignment, but when I picked the car back up I think they have just taken off the steering wheel and moved it slightly round so it looks straight. I am unhappy as they have left white residue marks on the centre of the steering wheel and it is till not totally straight. It goes in for a 6000 mile oil and filter in a week or two so I will see them to give them s**t.

Does anyone know if when having a 4 wheel alignment if they take the steering wheel off as I am dubious as to wether they have actually done it or just re-postioned the steering wheel???

As I far as I know that four wheel alignment does not require the steering wheel taken off.

They make adjustments underneath the car to various suspension joints to line up the cambers and castor angles on all four wheels. To do this the front wheels have to be dead straight. So as to guide the rear wheels. It would be a good opportunity to spot the steering wheel is not straight.
