Hi all so I have a problem with my air conditioning in the car. So the air con worked fine when I had it recharged by a garage and put the correct amount in of 525 and since then it's been fine for about a year except one of seals was weaping on the compressor. So off I went to Honda and bought 2 news o rings and had the system degassed and then recharged. So on the way home I turned on the a/c and heard a loud wind noise and got home and jacked car up and found the pressure relief valve on the compressor had blown all the gas and oil/dye out. My question is do I now need to buy a new relief valve or do they reset the self as it just a tyre valve basically, I'm guessing the system was just over charged as it has been working fine up until now.
