My car is due a new clutch the past few months as I was getting grinding going into 2nd and 3rd gear at high revs, however, the latest is a problem thats happening more and more often which is getting into 3rd gear only when coming down the gears from 4th. this can happen at any speed and doesn't give a grinding noise but more of a vibration through the gearstick and this vibration slows down as the car gets slower. Is this just another problem of the clutch getting more worn over time or something more serious?

Continuous use of grinding gears will eventually cause more damage. Replace the clutch asap before you destroy your gearbox...
