55' Premier won't start

Hi all, 4 years never had a problem but last weekend my Premier won't fire up. I suspected battery but I've tried to jump start it and it just turns over without firing up. When I remove the key I get the blinking green key light.

Google says Immobilizer? I tried the spare key but the same outcome. It's almost like the engine is being denied access to start... any thoughts? I was thinking crank sensor possibly also?
