I've recently bought a supercharged ep3.
Last night whilst out driving the supercharger started to squeal very loudly.
Does anyone have any idea what would cause this ??

Sounds like a knackered tensioner to me !

Would that happen all of a sudden as the sound started quickly instead of gradually ??

Sorry to bump an old thread but what was the issue in the end with this? Having a intermittent loud squeal issue with my jrsc, hoping its tensioner or pulley related and nothing more serious
