Started the strip down tonight. Two ball joints were a mare. Turns out the replacement lower arm I got is twisted [emoji20]

Slow progress being made. Bracket that holds wing and headlight slightly pushed in, couple of hours this afternoon should leave it A1

Front arm cleaned up, sprayed, and new bushings pressed. Some jab!

Rear ARB arrived too [emoji39]

Had to get the car off the lift for a couple days to do a more urgent repair on another vehicle. Things finished up this evening ready to go to paint

Just waiting on headlight for driver side, old light looks awful beside the the new one.

Track rod end took a slap so I'll lash a new one on tomorrow and get four wheel alignment sorted, she's not pulling but steering wheel is not centred and feels a bit vague.

Tegiwa shifter bushings installed in cabin and bay today. Not sure if it's placebo but definitely feels tighter/smoother

Car won't be in paint for another week, so more parts ordered to keep me busy

2ltr MTF-3, 4ltr 5w30, oil filter, cabin filter, spark plugs.

F7 LCA's

Beaks bar

And some dress up for GM scoop, currently cable tied on by previous owner

Have the service parts, so that'll keep me busy until the rear suspension parts arrive hopefully Friday.

So didn't get the LCA's fitted today. Don't have the specific socket for removing the bolts. Will have to wait until midweek for socket to arrive.

Cracked on with the ARB though

Im not convinced 45lb was right for the subframe bolts

A mate has me more or less convinced of a colour change. Car needs a few things tidied, and most panels require some form of prep. So I'm thinking why not?

After a few setbacks the car finally went in today for prep. Have gone off the colour change idea. So NHB it is. Back arches are a concern so going to grind back and f-glass them.

Mate i do like NHB but you have an opportunity here to give it a unique and special colour. It even champ white would make it stand out, doesn't matter that it's not JDM! I remember a midnight purple EP3 that looked good.

I appreciate what you're saying mate, I toyed with the colour change idea, but as I'm getting the respray gratis from a mate I don't want to take the p**s. He's been good enough to offer to do the work.
