Hi guys, been a member on here for a few months. Great site and very helpful :-D

Car history to date:
Fiesta mk2 (standard to pepper pots, lowered, XR2 dash)
Peugeot 205 GTi 1.6 (standard to lowered, 1.9 wheels, intake, exhaust, colour-coding)
Ford Escort RS Turbo series 2 (standard to wheels, engine circa 200BHP, suspension, exhaust, mag feature in Performance Ford)
Ford Escort Cosworth (standard to Rondall wheels, suspension, Stage 3, intercooler 325BHP at Graham Goode)
VW Mk3 Golf GTi (stardard to...noticing a theme here :chug: wheels, suspension, exhaust, intake)
VW MK4 Golf GTi (standard to wheels, coilovers, anniversary body kit, anni headliner, R32 seats, R32 lights, 220BHP)
VW MK5 Golf GTi (standard to wheels, coilovers, Edition 30 body kit)

and this brings us up to date Honda Civic Type-R EP3.

I bought the car off a friend at work after being offered it for a good price. So I sold the Mk5 Golf and here I am.

History wise the car only has two previous owners, and I have know the car during my mates 7 years ownership. Mechanically the car wanted for nothing, having a massive folder brimmed with receipts and invoices, even has the original bill of sale (18k with the options!)

Is a 2002 Milano Red model, with AC, 6 disc changer and the front fogs options. When I took ownership had just ticked over 120k, not a problem with all the serving to back it up. The only task ahead for me, was for me to put my mark on it, plus tackle the dreaded Milano FADE!! Not a massive issue for me though and I am a detailer in my spare time.

Day one, at home on my driveway. Kettle on (culpa for me) and broke out the shampoo, clay bar, machine polisher and all my detailing goodies.

Thanks a lot guys, yes very pleased with progress. [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

Future plans are engine bay tidy up, replace standard speakers, eibach pro springs and Bilstien B4s, and maybe some paint work (front end and has a dent to ns rear arch).

Will upload some pics of the interior soon.

Been waiting to see this for ages Si [smilie=karls_thumb.gif] looks much better from when you first picked it up mate and do I notice that's the same location the old red mk5 photos were taking in horsham?

Once i get my springs, dampers and dc5 manifold fitted I'll take you up on your cuppa tea offer and a chin wag :-D [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]

Was up by the shops at the weekend and thought " Si lives just up that street shall I take a peek " but I though I'd better wait for day light :shouldbeinteresting:
