just thought id put a build tread up as iv been on here a few years and i have my jdm ep3 about 3 and half years now .
i bought the car standard and started from there .
not long after i bought it this picture
when i brought it down for its first dyno day , made 202 hp
i got the wheels done powder coated black and a hc racing lip + d2 coilovers
buddyclub bottom ball joints
skunk 2 70 mm cat back
got a rbc manifold and tegiwa intake
made 245 hp on dyno
brought it to the ring for its first road trip from ireland .
up to date spec list on my car is :
and i did genuine timing chain , guides , tensioner , rocker cover gasket , valve clearance ,
front and rear engine oil seals and the seals front and rear for vtec and vvt .
new genuine knock sensor
new genuine coolant temp sensor
fitted the jrsc with new belt and
bought
GRAMS 550cc injectors new from tegiwa
walbro fuel pump new from tegiwa
i fitted a clutch master stage 7 twin plate kit (wish i bought off a member here) was pritty much brand new
mtf honda oil (changed 3 times since iv owned )
iridium plugs heat 8 for jrsc (3rd set of plugs i have fitted since iv owned it)
running millers 10w 50 at the moment in it , fuchs 10 50 before and valvoline before that , (i have change oil 8-10 times )
tegiwa m bought new from tegiwa
tegiwa intake pipe and tegiwa breaders
oil catch tank (i have never seen one bit of oil in tank)
clockwise motion baffled sump(bought off a member here)
magnetic sump and gearbox bungs
dc sports 421 manifold bought new from icetronix in ireland
skunk 2 70mm cat back in great condition , near new when i bought it (sounds mental)
water pump replaced with genuine
hel braided brake lines bought off tegiwa
rear chamber arms
a few months ago i decided to do a brake conversion
EVO 5 brembo brake conversion on front
new drilled discs and CL rc6 pads
CL racing brake fluid
evo 5 alloys painted bronze
buddy club bottom ball joints
tein coilovers in perfect working order and new rear bushes fitted(100 euro from tein japan)
i have fitted gauges i bought new boost , oil temp and oil pressure
hondata kpro 3 fitted and mapped by VTEC 6000 to 303hp
polibushes antiroll bar
new drop links all round
front wishbone bushes
drive shaft inner bearing
mugen rep rear spoiler and hc racing front lip
i removed all bumbers lights etc and cleaned all under body and coated the whole under body to ensure never rusts(cleanest under body i have seen)
clifford alarm
heko wind deflectors
tegiwa solid selector bush kit
engine mount inserts x3
engine start button
there is prob more i am leaving out but cant think of at the moment
i sent into bodyshop for a full body buff last month
