Hi all, picked up my CTR bone stock in may 2012. Have truly loved every moment of it. Ive got big plans for it as im probably going keep it for quite a while. As i said it was completely stock when i got it so i have carried out all modifications and fitted almost everything myself. Best way to save a few quid

Decided to track it a few months down the line so i stopped focusing on power changes and set funds towards handing mods instead

What does the brake stopper do as I heard stories on here its a waste of money and doesn't really do anything.

It's not a waste of money, it gets rid of that spongy brake feel when braking hard and gives you a better feel and response from the pedal

btw should i put both engine mount inserts in or just the back one???

just the rear will be fine.

I love the look of the DC exhaust however I couldn't live with the noise level so took it off after 3 days :crazy:

Fitted dc catback yesterday ..... and would you believe 5 mins after fitting and driving off the police pulled me over :bigcry:

I need a 2.5" system and need advice.

Mine can be loud if i want it to be but not bad when town driving :scratch:

Just said he could hear me but I wasn't even giving it much

I manged to fit all camber arms bolts and springs so took a trip down to TDI-South today and got them to do the FRSU.....handles like a dream also had them to fit the Engine mount inserts (both ) it is a GREAT improvement...it does vibrate a little bit but the gains justify it, it makes the gear changes so much smoother and apparently the vibration totally dissapears after a while [smilie=karls_thumb.gif] (can anyone confirm this btw???)

Nice one mate, TDI south done mine to, toatally transformed the handling of the car. As for the engine mounts ive not noticed any drop off in shift smoothness since putting mine on.
