I though I would start a Build thread as the car seems to be heading in that direction.
I bought the car a few weeks ago now with the intention of leaving it as it was and just enjoying it...
Its super clean without a dent or a scratch anywhere.
2003
Satin Silver
81,000
A/C
Fogs.
The car was pretty much standard when I bought it. The only mods being a Mugan splitter, Apex lowering springs & Black alloys.

Did you do the cam cover your self?
Also if your looking at RSR's for track you will need a baffled sump or a sump insert.
Looking good though :bigthumb:

Thanks guys!
I did indeed do the cam cover myself, etch primer, 3 coats of Fiat Golden yellow, then sanded back the Honda logo followed by about 5 coats of laquer.
The coil cover was just sanded, primed & a few coats of satin black.
Im still awaiting some Black dome nuts & a titanium anodised filler cap to finish it off.
It was my intention to baffle the sump when it next needs an oil change.. I have a friend that is an alumium tig welder so I will just buy the kit Tegiwa offer and hand it all over to him.
Would you guys advise 22 or 24mm rear arb (Using Standard Front)
Thanks

Haha! Small world. I much prefer the CTR, Its more of a package than the ibiza & its nice to get away from turbos for a little.
Have you got a Build thread?

Im afraid I havent. The car is up on axle stands at the minute as I have stripped down all the suspension to add all the new goodies.
Hopefully when there all fitted, ill give it a good detail and get some good quality pics up

Spent this evening grinding off all the lugs & casting marks off the inlet manifold before it goes to be bead blasted.
Cleans things up a little.

haha totally understand, just keep doing all these basic mods and bring the best/ max from the stock engine/ chassic without going too far
i just persoanlly think driving one of these cars without tracking it (say once or twice a year) will be a waste, but the mods does help it to drive better even on road, k-pro soon?

Yeah I cant wait too get it out on a track, I have never done anything like that before so I think ill be a bit nervous at first but im sure I will get used to it soon enough.
I think it will be a good car too learn in though. Enough power to have fun but not enough to get you into too much trouble, & hopefully the handling will be sorted soon.
I want to go out in a car with a kpro before I make the decision. Any offers guys??

Seems like a few of us Seat guys have jumped ship haha
Just picked up a set of DC5 meisterR coilovers second hand.
http://www.meisterr.com/Site/Zeta-R.html
I know the DC5 & EP3 are interchangeable with slight modification.. I just dont know what these mods that are needed are?
Can anyone enlighten me?
I know im rather silly buying them not know if & how they will fit but they were a price I couldn't refuse!

Yeah that always an option, its nice to be prepared though.. saves any unwanted surprises.
I am pretty sure its only some spaces needed for the rear or something.. I hope
Resolved - The rear bushes to the lower control arms just need a little grinding & I need some DC5 Track rod ends. [smilie=karls_thumb.gif]
