Looks to me like he was driving like a tit.
Bit harsh to say that as you don't know the circumstances etc. Could have been anything, someone elses fault, tyre blow out, patch of oil. Or of course he could have been hitting VTEC in 6th gear in the wet round a bend!

Long story short, was cut up on a dual carraigeway at the bottom of a bridge where there was a lot of standing water, braked heavily and aquaplaned!
Was only going 55 mph, which is a bit of luck as i didnt have belt on, but came out unscathed luckily!
Still, ended up with a better car, for no extra money! :-D

Anyway, next up was a respray on the rims! Had to borrow a set of these of my mates evo (which fit straight on for future ref).

Whilst switching the wheels over, i decided to paint the calipers silver. Did this by cleaning the calipers offwith brake degreaser and a wire brush. Then used Hammerite silver to paint them and was more than pleased with the results. They've lasted as well, must of done a fairly decent job. :-D

Fitted a tenzo r battery tie, spoon socks and a mugen oil cap, as well as a lee H earthing kit (not shown)

Got the wheels back, after getting them refurbed and sprayed in Aston Martin Midnight Pearl! Didnt want to get black, but wanted them darker than the cosmic paint! Am over the moon with the results:

Image

Fitted a brand new set of Yoko Parada spec 2's in 215/40/17 as these are lower profile by miles and are wicked in the dry!
Although, as you can on previous car, im not a great fan of the wet!

Fitted:

Ahh good stuff, lowering always makes them look so much more aggressive. I love my white rims.....but trust me your dark ones look so good mate, I'd be happy with either tbh.
