New tyres arrived -

Image

Just a tad wider than the 225's :?

Popped them on, and did a little 'jigging' of the arches, which involved removing basically everything from the inside of them

And the result is no touching what so ever! Must admit i was shocked after seeing how tight they were. Some fitted pics -

Love the dish on the front ones!

Image

And then finally the little lad wanted his new whip sorted, so we lowered that for him too.

Image

Just needs some arch flares and the electrics putting in now 8-)

Rear all stripped down to get the replacement bushes in -

Image

Had to cut my old arms to get the hubs off, can see where the metal insert has fused itself to the bolt -

Image

Also noticed how bad the rear trailing arm bush was when removed, good job i've changed it!

Image

LCA's had fresh bushes put in too, and were looking a bit crusty -

Image

LCA's all cleaned up, love the machine work on these! -

Image

Similar issue with the hubs -

Image

Hubs with new bushes in and cleaned down and tickled with some paint -

Image

Would have been rude not to replace the rear drop links with some heavy duty ones while it was all off

Image

All bolted back together and looking fresh 8)

Image

New pads fitted -

Image

Old ones still had a bit of life left in them tbh -

Image

But some cracks on the surface :/ -

Image

While i had the pads off i chucked some new track rod ends on and fresh boots -

Image

Also up top, i noticed my new spangly top mounts were maxed out camber wise but touching the inner shock top, so gave that a slight notch to let me max them out if i ever need to -

Image

While i was doing that on the passenger side i noticed my aux belt -

Image

:o so new gates belt purchased and new pulley as that had some play in it too, so better to be safe than sorry

Finally got the 40/40 prop valve plumbed into the braking system, SO much better pedal feel now. and no pad chatter win win. Got it all hidden and protected from the heat under the scuttle panel too!

Image
Image

Also got the airdam made for the bottom of the bumper, should stop air being pushed under the bumper and push it out around the sides

Image

Can just about see it in this picture all fitted -

Image

Since then just been out driving it getting some miles on it and enjoying it, bedded the new pads in, they are ridiculously good!

Popped up to the malton meet couple of weekends ago -

Image

Seemed to cause a bit of a stir . Also a few pics from a jap meet the other night -
