I'm probably covering very old ground here but in my experience, the IK that my car's driven the best on is an AEM CAI. I just didn't like that it couldn't be seen, hydrolock 'issue' and that it wasn't very loud in the car.

Tegiwa sounds amazing on crossover and looks smart, but I don't think the drive's as smooth or it pulls as well through the revs. But no worry of hydrolock - even though the chances are minimal if you don't drive through lakes.

Typhoon was just NOISE and drove like poo.

Well my dc5 has injen,dc manifold,rbc and trust exhaust and made 212 before tuning and 229 after,my peak torque was around 167 I think.I need a better exhaust but it is 2.5 but silenced.dont want it too loud as it's my daily drive but might have to sacrifice some noise for some power in the future. If I start chasing numbers I will do it and maybe get throttle body and rbc port matched but it drives great and the power band has been moved down a bit which takes some getting used to.
I've had 3 dc2 teg type r's and 2 dc5s and im so used to revving to redline im now finding im changing up at 7500 rather than 8500.having vtec at 4000 definitely helps.
