I read a few pages, then realised I may aswell read the whole thing.. So after reading this, you have made me incredibly jealous! NHB and torques are on my need list! Couple questions....

Tegiwa carbon cover and bolts, you said were pants? How comes?

How was running 8 wide torques against handling?

And also last question I swear! Did the oil radiator make any performance difference?!

Hi all

Well after 2years away from an ep3 I'm back in a cosmic facelift 2004 with 76k, needs abit of tidying up on the front end but apart from That it's mint, feels great to be back in a civic it's surprising how much iv missed it

The plan is to keep it long term and make a track toy out it so will be aiming to get somewhere near the spec of my old one

Current mods
Heko wind deflectors
Drilled and grooved front discs
Drilled and grooved Rear discs

Only got one picture for now, it needs a clean so more will be up at the weekend

So the tinkering begins

Started by buying:

-nankang Ns-2r semi slicks 225/45/17
-Fuchs Titan pro s
-hamp oil filter
-pollen filters
-password jdm battery tie bar
-Honda jazz washer jets

Started with an oil change, supposedly it had been serviced a month or so back ....

Then the pollen filters..

The semi slicks, Iv had them fitted and my god they have transformed the car

Also ordered some NGK spark plugs but they haven't arrived yet, I'm now on the hunt for some coilovers and a LSD

Also it suits the family so much better. Have to say thought wouldn't mind the new GTI golf after the audi as do miss the hothatchs lol.

Would you mind keeping track of the wear on those tyres? Only thing that puts me off the likes of rsr's and these is massive wear such as 3k miles for a set. Given the motorway trips I do they would be a waste if they are gone in 6 return trips.

Getting any rubbing on 225 wide?

I run the RSR all round and managed to get them to last a year, that includes around 4 track days and 10k of road mileage. And to be honest they had life left in them when I changed them, but I crashed on track so decided whilst it was off the road I'd get new tyres all round. I highly rate them, the grip is unreal for a road tyre, and they are decent in the wet too. Can't go wrong for £100 a corner. I run the 235/40/17

I rarely use the car during the week it's more a weekend/track toy I'll keep an eye on them but so far I'm impressed!
