I prefer it without the plug cover too mate it looks tidy and you dont have to worry about tightening the cover too much and cracking it

Cheers dude, I also thought takata green would look really nice although orange would look cool too. I'm in a dilemma now ...

I was the same while trying to choose my wheel colour, settled on midnight purple, but takata green was a very very close 2nd.

I know its never an easy choice is it, I just want a wild colour for a set of track wheels but who knows ill most probably stick with the buddyclubs for now.

Btw, you got anymore pictures of the front bumper with the holes cut in - Keep meaning to do mine as i was sure no other cosmics were knocking about with it done (or so i though).

Thanks mate,not too sure on going lower Im fairly happy with the ride how it is and plus in the photos its literally straight off the axle stands so it looks slightly more raised. I don't have many pics unfortunately but I'm sure I can take some more for you next weekend possibly, do yours mate always a winner when your cars for track :thumbup:

Nice spec list mate have a very similar spec list to yours, just got a ported and polished head, now need to get camshafts & springs. What final drive do you have? I am aiming to hit <275> bhp n/a. Wouldn't you have had more gains with a ported & polished head, cams, rbc...?

Nigel EP3 05, Hi mate I'm not sure on the ratio of the final drive is as the car came with it fitted, 275bhp na would be insane. I don't know why it is 254bhp and not more but it pulls really hard imo especially compared to my old ctr that had rbc, aem v1, dc mani, dc catback and k pro etc. I'm not all that worried what the car pulls on dyno aslong as its running safe and feels good on the road so I'm happy :bigthumb:

I've been quite busy with the car this week stripping callipers and painting them aswell as putting new pads, skimmed discs and some rbf 600 in. It got a little annoying at times due to the paint been so soft :scratch: I ended up painting some bits again but I got there in they end anyways only got a few pics will upload shortly :thumbup:

255hp is good on a dyno dynamics, a stock EP3 makes like 180 - they are famously stingey.

if these pics are as they are now then you have fitted the discs on the wrong side.the slots should be facing the other way.the slots should be pointint to the front of the car.the vents in the middle of the disc are shaped to aid cooling so it does make a difference.

no worries mate.also the vent in the caliper plate that you refit after fitting the pads with the 2 long allen bolts has to be a a certain way too,vent at the top of caliper..cant see from the pics which way you have it as it will fit both ways.

I remember asking Carlos about the air vent in calliper when I first got the stoptechs so I'm convinced there fitted correctly I'm glad you pointed that out with the discs though :thumbup:

Well I had a great day at oulton park today apart from my engine blowing up. Pics and possibly a vid to follow, hopfully the engine will be out tommorow so that I can look in to what happend and how.
