Also went into town to eventually pick up the Gruppe-M. Went round to the house i'm away to move into to see how the painter was getting on, drop off the OZ's/888's and fit the GM. It's the other side of town from where i am at the moment so thought a good blast back out the road would be good for checking for rattles. Just as well because by the time i got home (via the Honda dealer for the scuttle rubber, £16.50+VAT, robbing b@stards!) it was doing my head in. So back out it came for some fine tuning....
Whilst i was at it i gave the filter a bath as i don't plan on taking it back out for a while!

Got to be honest, the FEEL's does drone a bit at low rev's, or maybe just me getting older...

. Seems to be a sweet spot just after 3k then again after 4k. Although by the time it's gone past 4k it just totally changes and sounds the dogs balldocks. Just wish it didn't drone at cruising speed, especially about town. Might be down to the manifold or maybe just the drainpipe on the end of it. Contemplating changing to Toda but need to get a dB meter on it 1st.
Had planned on doing the suspension/box this week but parts have been delayed. Diff's still in Japan, suspension parts might be out by the end of the week and i'm away on Monday for 2 weeks with work. Think i'll go see if i can borrow the arch roller and get them done out of the way. At least it's something! And sort out the mirrors!
