I would be interested if this price is decent and the dyno they use is accurate.

It's always interesting to see what your cars putting out!

Dyno session would be around 9-1pm if we had 10 cars, bit longer for more. There will be a convoy leaving from Hamilton if you fancy joining that or you could meet us there? either way it will be a good laugh.

spoke to my mates, out of my group ill be the only one bringing my car along lol.

open question.

My car has a warranty. If its down in power for whatever reason, does my warranty cover it? with the exception of my 40BHP backseat tartan rug mod ;) i havent modified it in any way.... yet!

would this be something my warranty would cover do you think?

the mod on it just now is either a sports exhaust or a decat.... unsure at the moment as i havent looked, but i bought it from a main subaru dealer like that.

Do you have an FN2 or a Subaru?

If you car is down on power it could be for a number of reasons i.e. the Dyno, weather etc and not necessarily the car so I wouldn't worry about that (the same is true if it was up on power). However if it was significantly down on power (and you didn't already realise through driving) and that problem was related to a warranty covered part then hypothetically it could be fixed, but it's very unlikely that would be the case.

I think cars loose power as they age via wear and tear, they shouldn't loose too much if they have been regularly serviced.

Hope this helps!

Plus I reckon the rug is easily worth 50hp! haha

im just thinking worst case scenario like.

my dc5 was stuck on the rolling road last year and pulled out a 216.2 bhp out of the official 217 BHP..... i think. (alleged 220 bhp).

it feels like 200 bhp dont get me wrong lol!! just incase on paper i've lost 10 BHP i can rock up to the dealer and go "fix it" haha.

Its an FN2 i've got.

I wouldn't worry, I actually read that some of the FN2's run a bit higher on power a 205-7ish hp!
