Talking of coals Cat - Costco have the easy light stuff for about £20 for about 15 bags I think.

I can put some jdm stickers on to make it jap.

I don't mind leaving it in the normal carpark but will need to drive it to the camp in order to off load the geny and camping gear.

I'm booking time off work so will be there early instead this year. Maybe Thursday night/ Friday morning.

Should be fine. We get a "non Jap pass" anyway for things like dropping off gear so I'll sort out one for you.

Arrive Thursday so we have lights instead of candles.

Boss has been on about sacking the small generators off and getting the big ones that you have to tow so would be good if i can rob that for the weekend.

Saves paying for light and generator when I can get it from work and keep the tickets cheaper.

I'll be arriving about 3ish on the Thursday. Don't worry about booking more time off though, there's hardly anyone arrives on the Thursday so we'll manage with some candles and torches. Or if Antaz turns up on Thursday we can use up his car battery, like last year, then bump start his car while a bit worse for wear.

Just tell them in advance that your booking the day off and then there's no rush - 1st week in a new job your not going to be doing that much are you????

Why won't they be pleased - It's a prior engagement that you would have booked off anyway if you were still working in the bar.

If it's booked already then your new company have to honour it.

There probably won't be a lot that needs doing really. The marquee gets put up by the hire company and the furniture company deliver that to the marquee.

There's meant to be a limited number allowed in on the Thursday but I'll know more about this nearer the time. Thanks for the offer of help though.
